Anthony Miser is proud to serve as a champion for inclusive employment and community engagement through his work with HAAPE. Born and raised in the western suburbs of Chicago, Anthony has dedicated his career to supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in building meaningful, independent lives.
Anthony earned his bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Spanish from Central Michigan University, where he began working in the disability nonprofit sector—experience he continued to build on in both Michigan and Colorado before returning to Illinois. He brings a diverse professional background that includes supported employment, curriculum design, program development, and employer engagement. In his current role as Business Engagement Manager at Little Friends, Anthony not only helps individuals prepare for and secure employment but also supports employers with training, resources, and coaching to ensure successful, inclusive workplaces.
With a servant leadership mindset, Anthony is passionate about helping individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities build meaningful lives through purpose-driven employment. His work with HAAPE is grounded in his belief that neurodiverse individuals deserve equitable access to opportunity, and that employers are stronger when they embrace inclusion. Anthony is excited to help bring HAAPE’s mission to life in the Midwest and beyond.
