Gala Korniyenko is a PhD Candidate in the City and Regional Planning Program at the Ohio State University and a co-investigator of the research team that developed “Planning and Design for Autism: Six Feelings Framework” for the public realm. Korniyenko’s research focuses on planning with autistic and neurodiverse communities.
Gala’s dissertation assesses participation in the planning and design process to foster engagement with autistic adults. In addition to her doctoral research, Gala is actively engaged in governance, advocacy, and community-building in the wider university community.
