Director of Research and Development at the National Youth Advocate Program (NYAP)
Dr. Gala Korniyenko is the Director of Research and Development at the National Youth Advocate Program (NYAP). She holds a PhD in City and Regional Planning from The Ohio State University and was a Fulbright Scholar at the University of Kansas. Her research focuses on inclusive public participation in planning and human-environment relationships, with particular attention to disability, autism, and universal design in urban planning. She co-developed the Six Feelings Framework for Autism Planning and Design Standards.
