After achieving summa cum laude and as a valedictorian of his class at DePaul University’s College of Commerce, Harvey’s career included 45 years in practice as a Certified Public Accountant. He also served a five year term as the Managing Partner of AM&G. At the time of his retirement in 2007, he was the CEO of the Private Client Group of RSM McGladrey.
Harvey was the Founder and Trustee of Summit International, an association of distinguished regional public accounting firms located around the world, and being selected to serve two terms on DePaul University’s School of Accountancy Distinguished Visiting Advisory Committee.Harvey currently serves on the Board of Directors of the First Bank of Highland Park (IL). He is also a member of he Bank’s loan and audit committees. For 35 years he served as the President of the Les Turner Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Foundation and is currently President Emeritus of the Foundation.
