Rob Schwartz earned his law degree from Washington University School of Law and is a member of the Bar in New York and Colorado. He practiced law for over 30 years for broker dealers and investment management. For the last 15 years before his retirement, he served as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for firms managing mutual funds and hedge funds. In this capacity, he also acted as corporate secretary and was responsible for issues relating to governance of the companies and the funds. During his career, Mr. Schwartz served on the Board of directors of a mutual fund and chaired the valuation committee of several managers.
Mr. Schwartz has served as Treasurer and President of Shackamaxon Golf and Country Club in Scotch Plains, N.J., treasurer of Temple Sinai for over ten years and most recently as President of the Board of Trustees for Perry-Mansfield Performing Arts School and Camp, a 118-year-old arts organization in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
