Russell N. McCaffery is the Dean of the Industry, Manufacturing, Construction, and Transportation pathway at Broward College. In this role he oversees 2,000 students in the college’s Aviation, Supply Chain Management, Automotive, Marine, Building Construction, and Manufacturing programs. His vision of providing a path for people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to have meaningful employment in the Aviation Industry and is actively involved with HAAPE to bring this to reality in 2020. He has worked in transportation-related positions for well over 20 years. He oversaw a $24.5M Department of Labor grant to develop industry certifications for entry-level positions in the supply chain management field in partnership with the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals, and currently manages the program on behalf of CSCMP.Dean McCaffery holds a Master of Aeronautical Science degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aviation Operations from San Jose State University. He is a member of the Academic Strategies Committee for the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals.
