Ivan Rosenberg was integral to much of what HAAPE has become. His vision, leadership, and commitment to creating meaningful employment opportunities for autistic and neurodivergent adults left a lasting mark on our organization and many others.
As a pioneer of the Uniquely Abled Project, Ivan helped build both the vision and the pathway for demonstrating that autistic and neurodivergent adults deserve real careers and meaningful opportunities, not simply good intentions. That same conviction became an important part of what he brought to HAAPE.
Ivan’s contributions were particularly evident in the strategic plan he led for HAAPE, which established a framework that continues to guide and shape many of our current initiatives. His work gave us not only ideas and direction, but also a higher standard for what we should strive to accomplish.
Ivan gave HAAPE far more than his time and expertise. He gave us his vision, his wisdom, and a standard to hold ourselves accountable to. We are deeply grateful for all that he contributed and for the difference he made in the lives of so many.
With gratitude for everything Ivan gave to HAAPE and to the broader neurodiversity employment movement.
